We have sent our very first Style by Kenlee Subscription Box out this month, and we have gotten such awesome feedback!
On top of sending you trending accessories, we will be posting tips on how to style your outfits to match the accessories we ship you every month!
We want you to be able to try out new trends that might be a little out of your comfort zone, but we ALSO don't plan on deserting you. 😉
As a result, we decided to give you some advice on how to match the new additions to your wardrobe!
Without further ado, here are our Style Tips for your January Accessories!
I) Cozy in a Cardigan
For our first outfit, Kendall and I added a boho cardigan with a dark burgundy tunic and some black tights! We wanted to give you a look that was both dress AND comfy (a winter must, in my opinion), so we thought this was a great combo.
We loved how the colors blended with our 'Tree of Life' necklace, dandelion earrings, and turquoise-beaded bracelet, but still kept the attention on the accessories.
We added a burgundy beanie in one shot, and I put on my dark burgundy boots with white socks rolled over them to complete the winter outfit! It also helped keep my head toasty, which is a major plus! So go grab your beanie and rock it!
P.S. Maybe try wearing black leggings instead of the tights! It'll keep your legs a lot warmer than mine were. 😉
II) Comfy and Casual
Everyone needs a day (or two... Or seven) where they can just throw on a sweater, but still refrain from looking like they never really woke up (although those days happen, and it's totally fine)!
This is where your new accessories come in. 😉
Fortunately, the length of this particular necklace can be adjusted! This means you can still show it off without having to sacrifice yourself to the chill this winter!
We threw a sweater, infinity scarf and black leggings with burgundy boots on, and voila! Casual, comfy, and stylish!
I tend to roll up my sleeves no matter WHAT temperature it is outside (a habit I believe I inherited from my mother), so wearing this bracelet was definitely necessary, and wasn't hidden underneath the sweater.
P.S. You could always wear the bracelet over your sleeve; it can bring a new, quirky style to your outfit!
III) Boho with a Splash of Chic
Layers upon layers; one of winter fashion's great gifts to humankind!
Initially, we were going to do this shot without a hat, but Kendall (she's a genius) remembered she had it tucked in her place somewhere, and it instantly became a necessary spice to the outfit!
Sometimes a dash of color here and there can go a long way, and our burgundy necklace with the dark blue crown on top really brought the outfit to life!
We put together a short black dress, a sleeveless, striped cardigan, and a black high-low cardigan, complete with a dark brown braided belt wrapping it all together (literally).
P.S. A curly up-do would also look AMAZING with this outfit; just saying!
IV) Bring on the Beige!
For our last outfit, we wanted to let the accessories speak for themselves.
You can't see the full outfit, but I'm sporting a fitted beige shirt, and faded-black jeans (and Zelda socks, but that wasn't meant to be an outfit addition, or even mentioned... I digress).
Sometimes straight-up simple is the way to do it, and wearing beige is a great way to really send eyes to "those awesome accessories I got from Style by Kenlee!"
... See what I did there? 😉
We can't end our first official launch post without a "blooper" pic. I mean, that just wouldn't be right.
That, or it was a really bad idea. Either way, I'm not changing it (unless we get some seriously nasty comments; then I'll think about it).
